Recent advances in nanostructured carbon for sodium-ion batteries high stability and electronic conductivity. In this article, a variety of carbon nanomaterials, including carbon quantum dots (CQDs), carbon nanotubes (CNTs), carbon nanofibers (CNFs), carbon nanosheets, and graphene as well as graphite and amorphous carbon anodes for SIBs. Carbon dots (CDots), defined by a feature size of carbon materials and traditional QDs (TQDs). CDots possess many unique structural, physicochemical and photochemical properties that render them a promising platform for biology, devices, catalysis and other applications.

New Carbon Materials publishes original research papers devoted to the physics, chemistry and technology of the organic substances that are precursors for producing aromatically or tetrahedrally bonded carbonaceous solids, and of the materials that may be produced from those organic precursors. These materials range from diamond and graphite. Functionalized nanoporous carbon materials have attracted the colossal interest of the materials science fraternity owing to their intriguing physical and chemical properties including a well-ordered porous structure, exemplary high specific surface areas, electronic and ionic conductivity, excellent accessibility to active sites, and enhanced mass transport and diffusion.

Graphene, carbon fibers, carbon foams structural graphite, and nanotubes are majorly used advanced carbon materials as engineering materials. Rising focus toward lightweight composites from the automotive and aviation industry and increasing demand of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic in the construction industry is anticipated to drive the /5(26).
